We were asked to design and manufacture a fully workable 1:1 scale model of a child development toy. The toy had to be playful in its look, feel, and function. It is important to keep child safety in mind, and the toy must be ergonomically sound for the users. This project taught us how to use our research, apply safety requirements to our designs, apply an ergonomic analysis, model building, and user testing.
